3rd November spent afternoon using blue acrylic paint to do the mark making excercise. used as many household items e.g. knife fork, cocktail sticks toothbrush as possible. Really enjoyed this and may do more.
4th November used one colour of yellow to try the cut lemon painting. Think this failed miserably I used primary yellow acrylic and the more I looked at the cut lemon the more the fleshy bit looked grey! I could only get less bright and less bright yellow. I think I might try this again using watercolour or gouache to see if I can get the opacity better.
10th November have spent a lot of timre lloking at the colouring no the leaves now they have finally turned and are beginning to fall. A lot have just shrivelled up brown but the Maples and Sycamore are going to be fantastic if we dont get anmy hard frosts. lso decided to use pastels this weekend to draw the peppers fromt he greenhouse before the last are picked.
